OUR MISSION
Our mission is to create a support network for LGBTQ+ individuals and allies within Xerox while serving as a bridge between GWWP membership, Xerox, and external LGBT organizations, and align with Xerox’ DIB initiatives. We address the needs and concerns of LGBTQ+ employees, promoting inclusive policies that foster workforce diversity.
GALAXe has been a valuable resource for the LGBTQ+ community since 1988.
Over the years, we have garnered strong support from our allies, and today, we continue to stand together as a resilient and united community.
We rely on the unwavering support of our allies to propel us forward, fostering a culture of mutual assistance and solidarity among us all.
Together, we will strive for progress and uplift one another.
OUR GOALS
Establish a support network for LGBTQ+ individuals and allies within Xerox.
Serve as a liaison between GWWP membership, Xerox, and external LGBT organizations.
Collaborate with Xerox to recognize and address the needs and concerns of LGBTQ+ employees. Support the development and implementation of inclusive policies and procedures that promote and drive diversity in the workforce.
Extend support and assistance to LGBTQ+ Xerox employees and individuals in communities affected by prejudice and discrimination.
Provide educational training, and corporate counseling to LGBTQ+ individuals outside of Xerox, contributing to the betterment of society.
Membership
GALAXe extends a warm welcome to all Xerox employees, partners, and retirees!
You have the option to "Self-Identify" and join as either an LGBTQ+ member or a Straight Ally.
